Can you match my existing grille pattern?
Yes. In many cases, we can recreate existing grille layouts and profiles using photos and measurements.
What information do I need to request a grille quote?
Before beginning your quote, it is important to have measurements of the glass opening of your window. Grilles are sized slightly smaller than your measurements to ensure they fit. Please ensure you have gathered accurate measurements.
The choice of grille pattern is made during the quote process. Having your old grille (if you have one) nearby when filling out the form will help you choose the correct profile if you are trying to match other windows.
Are grilles returnable?
Due to the custom-built nature of all wooden grilles, they ARE NOT returnable. Please ensure your measurements and options are chosen correctly at the time of accepting the quote.
Do I need to send in my old grille?
No. Projects can be quoted from measurements and choices made in the quote request form. In some specialty situations, we may request photos or additional details.
Are the grilles removable?
Frameless and framed removable grille inserts are removable. They clip into the frame of your wooden window sash. SDL grilles are adhered to the glass with adhesive. We do not recommend trying to remove them once they are set in place.
Can you help identify my window brand?
Yes. If you’re unsure what brand your windows are, you may send photos and our team can often help identify them. Though in the case of grilles, the brand of window is not required.
Do you offer installation?
Fenster Components does not provide installation services. Our products are designed for DIYers, homeowners, contractors, and restoration professionals who are comfortable with installation or repair work.
