Quiksash is a universal fit upper/lower sash set designed to retrofit into the existing frame of tilt-in double-hung windows with vinyl compression jamb liners as an alternative to costly full replacement and a solution to replace failed individual, brand-specific sashes.
Quiksash works great for nearly every brand of wood window with vinyl compression jambliners including these popular brands: CARADCO, MALTA, MW, and ROCKWELL.
Quiksash kits are NOT a direct replica sash of the afore mentioned brands and sashes are NOT sold separately. Quiksash is only sold as a complete opening kit.

FENSTER DOUBLE-HUNG SASH KIT
Replacement kits for tilt-in wood windows.
The Double-Hung system is what is commonly referred to as a sash-pack or zip-pack. This is a sash replacement kit for tilt-in wood windows with vinyl compression jamb liners. Sashes are sold as a kit only. Individual brand-specific replica sashes are not available.

Sash Specifications:
Species: Clear pine treated with Woodlife 111
Finish: Stain grade: No visible knots greater than 1/16″ on interior faces. Paint grade: Minor knots/imperfections may be filled and sanded smooth.
Glass: Clear, LowE, LowE-Argon fill, Tempered, grills between the glass available options.
Sizing: Kits are sold in industry standard rough opening sizes only. Custom sizing is not available.
Measuring: Width of sashes and height of liner only. See the How To Measure Double Hung Windows video below for assistance.
Fitment: Kit requires a flat, 14/15 degree sill with no offset. This requirement is specific to some Norco and Crestline models.
A universal fit product may require some alteration at install such as shimming of liners or adding a filler strip in the head jamb.
Application: Works with “most” wood or clad wood windows with existing vinyl compression jamb liners. Quiksash does NOT work with the Pozzi/Wenco easy-tilt system. If your Pozzi/Wenco window has static-mounted jamb liners and slide locks to tilt in the sashes, this product will not work for your application.

Also called Window Grids, the grille pattern of a sash defines the look of a window. Grille pattern is determined by the number of lites the grille bars create. Here are some common examples of double0hung grille patterns.
