Standard Double-Hung Replacement Sash Kit

The Standard Double-Hung system is what is commonly referred to as a sash-pack or zip-pack. This is a sash replacement kit for tilt-in wood windows that already have vinyl compression jamb liners. Sashes are sold as a kit only. Individual brand-specific replica sashes are not available.

STANDARD DOUBLE-HUNG SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:
Species: Non-clad and/or stain grade units are solid, clear white pine wood treated with Woodlife 111 preservative. Clad paint grade units are solid poplar wood.
Interior Finish: Bare wood: No visible knots greater than 1/16″ on interior faces.
Exterior Finish: Primed wood for paint, or aluminum clad in White or Sand
Jamb Liner Color: Available in White or Sand
Glass: LowE
Grille Options: None or Grille Between Glass (Standard Colonial spacing only) in White or Sand
Hardware: White or Brown locks
Sizing Tolerance: Sold in standard rough opening sizes only. See all options on the order form.
Measuring: Standard rough opening sizes are based on the edge-to-edge width of sashes on the exterior surface and jamb liner height from the long point.
Kit: Upper/lower sash assembled with jamb liner kit
High Elevation Disclosure: Fenster products are NOT rated for high elevation applications above 7,000 ft. Customer assumes liability for product integrity and acknowledges there is no warranty for seal failure.
Shipping: Sash orders are delivered via Fenster truck ONLY. Third-party ground shipping is not available. Our standard delivery radius is 900 miles from Indianapolis, IN. Locations outside of this radius, specifically South Florida and the west coast, require seasonal wait lists with potential extended lead times.
Warranty: 10 years
Tax Credit: Fenster products do NOT qualify for the energy tax credit. This applies to new, full-frame replacement windows only. Fenster products are considered repair parts to the existing window unit.

Experience the benefits of our standard double-hung window sash replacement solutions. Our standard Quiksash is a universal fit upper/lower sash set designed to retrofit into the existing frame of tilt-in double-hung windows with vinyl compression jamb liners as an alternative to costly full replacement and a solution to replace failed individual, brand-specific sashes.
Quiksash works great for nearly every brand of wood window with vinyl compression jamb liners, including these popular brands: CARADCO, MALTA, MW, and ROCKWELL.
Quiksash kits are NOT a direct replica of the previously mentioned brands. Top and bottom sashes are NOT sold separately. Quiksash is only sold as a complete opening kit.

Delivery Requirements
Delivery fees apply to all delivered orders. Orders may also be picked up at our Noblesville, IN location.
*Please note: If delivering to MT, NM, AZ, FL, or CA, your order may have extended lead time due to delivery routes.
Return Policy
Orders received and deemed incorrect for any reason, including, but not limited to; Mis-measurement, incorrect model, or incorrect selected options/specifications, are returnable for a 50% restocking fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to review product information, input order specifications correctly, and review the provided detailed invoice for correctness prior to authorizing order payment. 50% refund is for the product total only. Delivery fees are not refundable. The customer may elect to receive a 50% credit toward a new order, but return of the original order is required. The product must be returned intact and undamaged to receive a refund. Pro-rated refunds will be based on the condition of the returned product. Customers can elect to have the product picked up for an additional return fee, which will be deducted from the product refund.
